Goose's Birthday

Today, November 15, 2007, is my birthday. Today I turn twenty-two years old. How I wish those were months again. I celebrated my birthday by doing an all week celebration. It began on Sunday, I took off with my girlfriend and cousins, and we went to Lake Tahoe. From there we celebrated by going to the snow areas. When we got there we built snowmen and fought in the snow. We also built a small ramp that we took small sleds and slid off of. After hanging out in the snow for five hours sliding off the ramp, throwing snow balls, and making snowmen, we decided that we would finish up there and go to the casinos in Tahoe. This all happened after they buried me in snow. When we were driving there I figured out that I had not brought my license.

Upon driving to the casino and finding out that my driver’s license, I figured that I was not going to be let into the casino. Later on, after being able to get into the casino without an I.D. other than my selective service card that I had. After all that, it turns out that I did not really need my I.D., because I remember that at my Vegas vacation over the summer I had applied to own one of those casino rewards cards and that it would allow me to go around the casino without really having an I.D. The card allows me to do that because they would not issue one to me if I was not twenty-one. Well I spent more than I was supposed to, but hey it was my birthday celebration, might as well spend go all out.

On Monday, we kept the celebration going by going out to Dave and Busters. There we had another great time playing games and doing whatever we twenty-one year old or older do at a place like that. We hit the bar and drank for most of the time and of course competed in the basketball shoot out game against sober people. The funny part about this whole day was that the sober people still were losing to the ones drinking. By that time we already about 6 shots of alcohol and 3 beers, and we were going against random people. In the end, of the day we won a lot of tickets and were drunk.

Tuesday and Wednesday were both days that were not to eventful but it was still celebrated with presents that were given to me. One of my friends baked me a cookie, a big cookie.

Today was the best day because after school I went with my family to Chevy’s and got my Mexican sombrero that I have been wanting for so long. My parents paid for the dinner and I just had a great time.
